I am not saying there is anything wrong with wanting to have it all, there is a line we must draw and take some time to really question our life choices whether that would be the thoughts and people we let live rent free in our minds or useless items we think we need to acquire to somehow prove that we are better than others.
Coming to beauty- its one of the most unregulated industries, I see countless number of brands pop up everyday with their own “luxury” line of beauty products which I find hard to believe. My simple rule of beauty and cosmetics is that I will only apply a product on my skin if I can eat it. You may say thats weird but my reasoning for that is that your skin is the largest organ of your body. Anything you feed is is going to get absorbed and consumed by the outermost layers of your skin and eventually your bloodstream.This is exactly how pain ointments and gels work, they penetrate the skin and are usually atopic. Some of them even contain steroids which are known and proven to cause cancer.
Beware of Ingredients Whipped up in the Chemistry Lab
Next time you go out to purchase any products go over the list of ingredients and if you find anything on there that you cant pronounce or that sounds like something you would whip up in the chemistry lab , put down that product. This is the first and foremost secret the beauty industry never tells. If it says ascorbic acid, thats not the vitamin C you want. You don’t want to put anything that is not naturally found but chemically manufactured.This holds good for all the supplements that are the recent rave in the market.
