Slow and low heat infusion is key to making the perfect herb infused oil.Patience is key here and you have to make sure to always keep the temperature in your double boiler below 70C to prevent the oil from losing its natural properties.You can always go the easy route and throw this in a crockpot for 8hrs. Use heat proof glass or metal containers only , ones that don’t alter the constituents or react in anyway. We want to make sure that we are always maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for the oils to steep in. Ensure you don’t add heat sensitive oils like rose-hip, all essential oils or any fragrance till after. I prefer to add vitamin E at the end after straining the herbs so as to not lose on any of the goodness that stays stuck to the petals. You will notice that dried flowers soak in a ton of oil so there is that. I will do a more detailed post on how to DIY infused oils, body butter, soaps basically everything you need to know to get started with your own herbal apothecary at home. #apothecary

Love how people brag about how much they accomplished with the lockdown but I find this to be the biggest concern. I have had it with the virus , and yes the vaccine is only 95% effective so just saying this madness is not over. #covidmentalhealth PS. Just because I post a meme or video doesn’t meant it’s a reflection of myself. Sometimes it’s just good information or I find it fun to share. And just because there is a female in this video doesn’t mean men and non- binary genders don’t suffer from mental health problems.Are we cool ?
