Let’s fill our hearts with love and gratitude this Christmas. Gratitude brings joy.It paves the way for more happiness to come our way.It helps us to focus on the positive and good things in life. A feeling of contentment and fulfilment not only makes us happy but also inspires us to do good. Each morning as you wake up feel thankful for being alive, for being able to breathe the fresh air, smell the morning , see the lush green garden and taste a freshly brewed coffee.Trust me if your are healthy, have enough to eat, have clothes to wear and have a roof above your head you are happier than more than 85% people in the world.A state of gratitude sparks inspiration and boosts our energy levels.We are more likely to bounce off challenges in life if we are happy and thankful for what we have.
Let us rise up and be thankful,for if we didn’t learn a lot today at least we learned a little,for if we didn’t learn a little, today at least we didn’t get sick , and if we did got sick at least we didn’t die ; so let us all be thankful ~Buddha
This Christmas start our day with positive affirmations. Be kind to one another.Treat everyone with respect and try to be less judgemental.Let us pledge to do a random act of kindness , a selfless deed to make someone happy.Here is a tip for you, unplug everything you have , there is a high probability that anything that wasn’t working will start working after being unplugged for a little bit.Take a break and , just breathe.It is all going to be alright.
Here is something to swear by ,Surrender to what is ,Make peace with what was and Have faith in what will be.Now I don’t know if this is from the bible or Instagram but either way it applies.
Because when you stop and look around life is pretty amazing 🎉❄️🎄✨❤️ it all happens for the best 🎀
As for the future, work hard and raise your standards, the universe will meet you there.What is stopping us from achieve I got our dreams well ahem , procrastination.Why do we procrastinate? Are we lazy ? Or are we bored ? Or are we use not motivated enough? To be honest I didn’t have an answer and so I googled.Google searches redirected me to a buzz feed link on how to overcome procrastination and eventually to a BuzzFeed quiz which tells me what kind of food I am.Turns out I am a pizza.Anyway where was I ? I lost my train of thought, will start again tomorrow on this post.
Let me start off with my list of things I am grateful for. I am grateful for being healthy.I am so thankful to be blessed with a family that loves me and adores me.I am so happy to have friends I can share with and who can share with me in happiness and misery.I am so grateful about the invention of the internet and having access to it.I am grateful for being able to connect virtually if not physically with family and friends.i am grateful for the love and support I receive from my readers, reaching the 10k mark was quite a milestone this year. I am grateful for getting ample vacation and holiday time this year.I am grateful for earning enough money to buy shoes and clothes and gifts for my family.I am thankful for being able to read 12 books this year, a long lost habit which I am working on.
I still remember the days I prayed for the things I have now 🙂
Here are some of the things you can do to be more happy and grateful.First reserve one day of the week to be a cheat day and eat all you like.Second exercise and take daily walks.
